The Casey Anthony trial resumed this morning after a judge ruled that the 25-year-old accused murderer from Orlando is competent to stand trial.

The trial was abruptly put on hold over the weekend after the judge said a "legal matter" had come up. That matter was Anthony's mental state.

Defense lawyers filed a motion to determine her competency to proceed, and after three psychologists found her competent, the trial goes on.

Casey, who is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony, in 2008, has pleaded not guilty. She faces the death penalty if convicted.

Prosecutors allege Anthony killed her daughter by using chloroform and suffocating her with duct tape, then leaving her lifeless body in the woods.

Casey Anthony's defense hinges on the theory that Caylee accidentally drowned, that Anthony and her father, George, covered up the accident.

George's prior sexual abuse of Casey when she was a child factored into this poor judgment, her lawyers have posited, to much controversy.

Days before embarking on their first North American tour, Prince William and Kate Middleton relaxed a little on Monday with a visit to Wimbledon.

The couple were greeted with an enthusiastic ovation as they took their seats in the front row of - where else - the Royal Box at Centre Court.

William and Kate, who fittingly wore a white Temperley London dress to the most traditional of tennis contests, blushed a little at the adulation:

A spokesman at St. James's Palace said the couple, who honored UK troops at an event over the weekend, were at the sporting event "privately."

Kate Middleton loves tennis and plays regularly, having visited Wimbledon a number of times. William has been going to the event since he was a child.

They were in their seats around 1 p.m. in time to support the UK's own Andy Murray in his match against France's Richard Gasquet in the Round of 16.

Murray won. So did fans who got a glimpse of these adorable lovebirds.

Thank you, Miley Cyrus. It's been far too long since we mocked your fashion choices.

The singer took her international Gypsy Heart Tour to Brisbane, Australia late last week, entertaining screaming fans with tracks from "Can't Be Tamed" and also covering a couple classics.

There's a problem, though, when you deliver a version of the iconic ballad "Landslide" in an outfit that might make some porn stars blush. It's a bit distracting and off-message.

Madonna and Brahim Zaibat haven't publicly clarified their relationship status, per se ... but they did have quite the cozy weekend together in Paris!

Her Madgesty and her reported beau, who were first linked in early 2011, were seen dancing and dining just weeks after they supposedly broke up.

The pop superstar, 52, and the French break dancer, 24, arrived in Paris on Friday and dined at The Ritz's Espadon restaurant that evening ...

On Saturday, Madonna was out on her own, flea marketing at Clignancourt's Marché aux Puces, before reuniting with Brahim Zaibat for a private dinner.

Also at the meal were Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, who did some of the Material Girl's Sticky & Sweet tour outfits, and model Mariacarla Boscono.

But the evening didn't end there: At midnight, the pair stopped in at the VIP Club for a few hours of disco fun. These two definitely seem like an item.

Madonna and Zaibat have been linked since last year, following her split from Jesus Luz ... who's the same age as Brahim. She certainly has a type.

On Bravo's Watch What Happens Live last Sunday, Vicki Gunvalson fired back against charges that she's in love with a man who neglects his kids.

Asked about Brook Ayers - the man this Real Housewife of Orange County has been allegedly dating before she even split with husband Donn and who was arrested twice in 2010 for not paying child support - Vicki said the media "doesn't tell the whole truth."

“I knew everything. There wasn’t any secrets and lies," Gunvalson told host Andy Cohen of reports she was duped by her boyfriend.

Vicki even penned a letter to the judge after one of Ayers' arrests, asking her man get released from custody. Is that because she is in love with Brook, Cohen asked?

"Yes, Vicki replied, who must have been lying when she said she felt guilty talking about her divorce and her relationships on the show.

Bristol Palin says that despite the terrible decision she made when she gave it up to Levi Johnston while drunk in a tent, it was consensual all the way.

The topic came up on Good Morning America, with Bristol standing by the statement she makes in her book ... that Levi "stole" her virginity.

The eldest daughter of Sarah Palin gave it up when she was just 15. She says she used the word "stolen" because "that's what it felt like."

The book, entitled Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, describes the big night. Bristol, after getting plowed on wine coolers, got ... y'know.

"I'm not accusing Levi of date rape, or rape at all," Bristol clarified. "But I am just looking back on this with the adult eyes I have now."

Now, she says, she's thinking "that was a foolish decision."

Ditto the rest of the times they slept together. While they said they wouldn't do it again until they got married, the boning continued and son Tripp was spawned, after which Bristol hilariously became an abstinence advocate.

Whether he's dressing like Elvis or having Dominic Monaghan simulate domestic violence against Megan Fox, Eminem is not one to hold back in music videos.

Never has that been more true than in his latest offering.

For "Space Bound," the artist recruits porn star Sasha Grey to portray his source of torment. Rapping that "I blow my brains in your lap and lay here and die in your arms," Eminem and Grey go to a motel... where he attempts to choke his lover, watches her disappear in his arms, and then pulls out a gun and kills himself.

When Jennifer Aniston got her first tattoo - her naughtier side is coming out after 42 years - she decided her ink would represent something important.

The actress revealed that the new tat, located on the inside of her right foot, reads "Norman". That's not her new boyfriend (Justin Theroux, who she met on the set of Wanderlust), but her loyal canine companion of 15 years.

"That's my dog," she told ET Canada. "My baby who just passed away."

A Welsh corgi-terrier mix, Norman kept devotedly by Jennifer Aniston's side through thick and thin, but died in May after a decade and a half.

"I never thought that would ever happen," says the Horrible Bosses star. "It's just my way to pay homage to him ... forever."

Anne Hathaway won't exactly go down as the top Academy Awards host of all-time. She and James Franco were universally panned for their performance on March.

How does the actress feel about it now?

"In the grand scheme of things, I got to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," Hathaway says in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar. "I met great people, wore beautiful clothes. And I got to put on a show. I don't see a downside. Anyone who disliked my personality probably disliked my personality before the Oscars."

The gorgeous actress certainly isn't hurting professionally as a result: she'll portray Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises.

"I've always thought that skinny was the goal, but with this job I also have to be strong," she says in the interview.

Last night at the BET Awards, some lucky fans were chosen to present the viewer's choice award. Some serious awkwardness transpired.

Not only did the wrong person get it, the celebrities involved happened to be Chris Brown and Rihanna, with Drake thrown in no less.

Brown owned the BET Awards, taking home four big honors, one of which being the viewer's choice award. But it wasn't given to him initially ...

The lucky fan read the winner as "Chris Brown," only to recant it and say, "I'm sorry, the winner is Rihanna." The audience grumbled.

THEN, despite the fact that Rihanna's name appeared on screen one of the presenters chimed in again to award the honor to ... Drake.

Drake then appeared on stage to collect his trophy, giving a short speech and describing the whole thing as awkward. To say the least.

Presumably, at some point later, Brown was credited with the actual award ... but not before the entire process was thoroughly discredited.
