It may not have been the most appropriate thing to say but there is free speech, isn't there? I am an Obama supporter and I don't think this is a biggie. I don't think that this jerk calling him a d**c will bother him greatly...people sometimes make more out of a little something than there needs to be...it was an opinion and we all have those, right?

Freedom of Speech

Mark Halperin asked for a 7-second delay and warned the bleep button controller well in advance, saying that he wanted to give his opinion on how the president acted- He used a colloquial term for jackass- jeez!!! what an overreaction!!! Everyone said much worse about Bush and no one had a problem with it. Suspending this guy is going WAY overboard!

... There's just no respect for the President these days... While it is a matter of free speech, there was no foundation set for him to be acting so childishly and disrespectfully. It's offensive to all Americans when you call the President a d*ck, and it was completely uncalled for. Shame and dishonor on him.

Cheap shot at President. Serious questions deserve serious answers not name calling "school boy" mentally.
