Mark Halperin Suspended by MSNBC for Obama D-ck Reference
by Hilton Hater at .Mark Halperin must be watching too much Tracy Morgan stand-up.
During a live appearance on MSNBC's Morning Joe today, the political analyst was asked about President Obama's behavior yesterday during a meeting with Republicans, inquired about whether or not the show was on a seven-second delay and then said:
The President "acted like a dick." Watch the host's stunned reaction to the insult now:
Halperin, who co-authored the book "Game Change," has been suspended indefinitely by the network and said in a statement:
"I want to offer a heartfelt and profound apology to the president, to my MSNBC colleagues, and to the viewers. My remark was unacceptable, and I deeply regret it."
Should he have been punished?

Mark Halperin could only have made it better by suggesting Obama should be a dick more often! That' what we need in the face of a political party that has, from the onset, vowed to destroy this Presidency, regardless of how many dead Americans it leaves in the road...never, never has a politcal party been more devious, lying, and extorting than this Republican Party has been. Imagine! Using the Debt Ceiling as an excuse to punish the middle class, the poor, and the elderly only to reward their rich patrons. The Paul Ryan budget gave every damned dime of cuts to the wealthy in the form of tax benefits. Come on. Open your eyes you fools making less than $1MM a year who vote Republican. Check it out...the Deficit has ALWAYS GONE UP UNDER THE REPUBLICANS. They are disgraceful and treasonous and they need a "dick" to put them in their place...the trash heap of history starting in 2012. I take Halperin's comment as a compliment given the circumstances.
It was disrespectful and unprofessional. However, the suspension should be brief. Let him go back to work. Prez Obama probably had a good chuckle off of it. I know I don't take my critics too seriously. Also, I don't think it was a racist remark in this case. Let's move forward. He's apologized and has been reprimanded (don't be like the overly grudge holding gays). If a man has apologized give him room to prove he has changed. Enough is enough.
Get back in your tree Rev. Muh Dik.
I think they're overreacting. Actually, I think President Obama would have agreed with Halperin that he actually DID act like a dick, but he had his reasons for it.
I don't understand why the Reverend has to go there with racial comments. Not very Reverend like for one thing. I'm not an Obama fan and I do believe in free speech but I do agree that although it's great to express your opionion, it should have been done respectfully. We may not always agree with out President but we should respect our President and pray for him. He could have used other words instead of the ones he chose to say. I think he should be reprimanded and then they should let it go.
