The Ryan Dunn was remembered in West Chester, Pa., at a private memorial attended by family, friends and some of his beloved co-stars from Jackass.
Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera attended, as did Knoxville’s wife Melissa, Bam’s parents Phil and April, Philly-area friends and comics Glenn Howerton and Rob McElhenney of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia fame, and others.
While the Westboro Baptist Church threatened to picket the event, the private memorial for the 34-year-old star, held at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home in West Chester, came and went with no incident.

Overseas, the Kings of Leon paid tribute to Dunn at their concert in London’s Hyde Park, urging fans to raise a glass to “a friend of ours who’s passed away.” Caleb Followill said, “This is for Ryan” before playing “McFearless.”
Dunn will be reportedly be laid to rest in his home state of Ohio, with a public memorial to be announced soon. In lieu of flowers, Dunn’s family requested friends and fans to make a contribution to Garth Brooks’ Teammate for Kids nonprofit.
Friends and family of Jackass crew member Zachary Hartwell, who also died in the crash that killed Dunn Monday, will hold a memorial Saturday.
