Donald Trump and Sarah Palin Share Pizza, Love-Fest in NYC
In the greatest meeting of political minds since ... you know what, it's not important. But Donald Trump and Sarah Palin met at a pizza joint in NYC yesterday!
Trump loves the former Alaska Governor, too. Mostly because she loves him so much, or so he claims in gushing about his favorite topic (himself) to Fox.
Palin would "love" for Trump to run for president in the next election cycle, he claimed on Fox & Friends this morning. Here's one of his choice quotes:
Trump met Palin during her stop in New York City. The Thrilla From Wasilla kicked off a tour of the eastern U.S. at the Rolling Thunder rally last weekend.
Both big-name Republicans have been talked about as presidential hopefuls, though Trump recently bowed out and Palin doesn't appear interested.
Like Trump, she basks in the attention, but you can get that merely by acting like you might entertain the idea of running, so why actually bother?
In any case, the admiration is mutual. Trump called Sarah Palin a "terrific woman and a terrific friend" who he hoped would seek the GOP nomination.
