The Prince reports that the 94-year-old star has been unresponsive since 2 a.m. Wednesday after being treated for a problem resulting from a feeding tube.

    Oh for the love of Pete! I wasn't recommending that she be killed but this poor lady has been so sick for so long that doing all of these "life saving measures" is almost cruel. If that were your Grandma would go really want to get a few more months with her for yourself at such an expense to her? She is lovely and gracious and deserves to leave this earth in the same dignified manner.

  2. I am well aware of what euthanasia is, you ignoramous

    @JrzGrl: Spare me your lecture and "clarification" you ignoramous. It is you who are literally rewriting the post. I am well aware of the brand of "Compassion" to which you refer. Compassion is the furthest thing from the attitude and tone in that post. "For God's sake make her comfortable and let her go!!" smacks of an accusatory tone as if they are somehow trying to keep her going as a vegetable and should put her "out of her misery." "Let her go" cleary implies that under no condition is recovery to be expected or attempted. That, my dear, is euthanasia. It also takes uinmitigated gall to presume that "Letting her go" is the only option left. Does "whatswithpeople" (even that name indicates the attitude and intent behind the poster's comment) have the full medical report? Of course not. The intent of the poster's statement is crystal clear: 94 + coma = do not try to save the person and "put them out of their misery." That is not compassion. That's the kind of statement you'd make a

    Hey Shame- do you even know what euthanasia is??? Nobody suggested killing the poor woman. They simply said to let her go peacefully. They're showing compassion. You completely misunderstood the post(s).

    I agree with Whatswithpeople!! She has lived a long and fulfilled life most of us can only dream of achieving. Given all the press as of late regarding her numerous health woes, I pray her loved ones put aside their own pain and look to alleviate hers. I can understand why they would want to keep her with them - she's truly an icon and inspiration to many. But continuing to put her thru so much has got to be hard on her as she tries to recover from the latest medical interventions. She's lived a long life....make her comfortable and give her some peace.

  5. Shame On You!

    @Whatswithpeople:

    You've got to be kidding. What a fitting name you've chosen for yourself. What's with you? How dare you impose your ignorant euthanasia message at this difficult time for Ms. Gabor and her family. Not to mention, without even knowing what they have decided to do in this situation. Regardless, your post is reprehensible. Perhaps, you should consider euthanizing yourself. What an ignorant thing to post.

  6. Well Wishes and Prayers

    I agree, she is a beautiful lady. Sending prayers to her and her family. Actually, it was her twin sister Eva who was in Green Acres. Easy to confuse. They were completely identical. Not sure if Eva is still alive.

    She was a beautiful, classy lady. Loved her on Green Acres.
