Master P: Proud of Romeo's Run on Dancing With the Stars

by at . Comments

Master P didn't have much luck on Dancing With the Stars, flaming out first during his season. So his son Romeo did the family proud making the final five.

Romeo was eliminated last night, and while he was somewhat surprised he was ousted, his dad appeared to be preparing for it earlier in the day.

"My dad called me at six o'clock this morning," Romeo said of the day before the DWTS results show. "I was expecting to sleep until at least 10."

"He called me and gave me a speech about how proud of me he is no matter what the outcome of tonight is," Romeo said.

The call had Romeo wondering if dad knew something he didn't.

"[He said], 'You're a winner. Nobody expected you to come this far,' " Romeo recalled. "And I was like, 'Do you know that I'm going home or something?' I was like, 'Dad ... save your speech for a few more weeks from now.'"

Romeo's dad, whose real name is Percy Miller, had it pegged.

The 21-year-old was indeed sent home, but he was grateful for the support. From his dad, yes, but mostly from his partner Chelsie Hightower.

"Chelsie made me want to become a winner," Romeo said. "We had a lot of fun. We became really close. It's going to be weird not seeing her."

Who do you think will win DWTS with Romeo out?

(1) I so want Hines Ward to win...I'm from Pittsburgh...YEAH STEELERS! (2) If not Hines Ward then Kristie Alley as she is so graceful and I just think the woman has "all that" and more...YEAH Kristie! (3) I so want the judge that continues to gyrate and posture to cut it out...in my opinion...he is such a distraction and not in a tasteful way!

Dancing with the Stars Quotes

We should have started dancing with one arm waaay before.

Cristian de la Fuente [following his injury, trip to the hospital and subsequent stellar performance]

I am not the best dancer, and I have not been the best dancer from the beginning. I am happy we made it this far.
