Macho Man Randy Savage: Dead from Heart Attack, Car Accident

Ooooohhh Noooooo.

Macho Man Randy Savage, one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE history, has died from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was 58.

The grappling great reportedly suffered a heart attack while driving in Florida this morning. Police confirm his Jeep Wrangler veered across a concrete median and "collided head-on with a tree." There was no alcohol involved and Savage was wearing his seatbelt.

The Macho Man was driving with his wife Lynn, who survived with "minor injuries." The couple had been married for a year.

Savage started his career in 1985 and was a seven-time world champion. Our thoughts go out to his family.

My deepest sympathy to the Savage family, I am so deeply saddened by this news, my son was so shocked. Watching Randy coming down the aisle was such a treat, it brought so many happy memories to some little boys that had just lost their Dad. My sons would roll all over the floor, imitate Randy, using the chair, anything that would make them big and strong like their hero, such a great man, and his lovely wife. Please remember all of the happy good times, and that so many people share in your love for Randy, I am so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Cheryl Miller Van Dorn & Sons, Matthew, Erich, and Clayton, the youngest really worshiped Randy so much. I am truly so sorry for your loss, hugs & love always, Cheryl
