Lindsay Lohan Probation Report: Not Pretty!

by at . Comments

It's amazing Lindsay Lohan got off so easily in her theft case, eluding jail and earning a house arrest wrist-slap, given what her probation report shows.

Let's just say she's not a model citizen for the corrections department.

Lohan drank alcohol the night she scuffled with Betty Ford employee Dawn Holland late last year, and failed a random alcohol test after she left rehab.

The report also states that Lohan, who was accused of ganking a $2,500 necklace, "has been suspected of similar conduct in other jewelry stores."

No charges were ever filed, but that can't be said of most people.

The probation report says Lohan indeed drank alcohol after sneaking out from the Betty Ford Center in December, citing local police interviews.

Charges that she battered Holland, a rehab employee that night were dropped for lack of evidence, despite this 911 call from both women.

Lohan went on to test positive for alcohol in February, one week after her assistant surrendered the allegedly stolen necklace to the LAPD!

"The probation officer believes that substance abuse is the root of the defendant's problems," the report says, although L.A. Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner disagreed with that assessment on Wednesday.

Instead, Lohan was ordered to psychological counseling instead of more rehab, in addition to a four-month jail term and community service.

For now, Lohan will not be tested for drug and alcohol use.

She is expected to be allowed to serve her 120-day jail term for violating probation under home detention and is eligible for early release.

Both good behavior and budget constraints could dramatically shorten the time she's stuck at home. Lohan just released a statement saying:

"I am glad to be able to move on with my life and my career. I support the judge's decision and hold myself accountable for being in this situation."

I have already started my community service at the Downtown Women's Center and thank everyone there for their warm welcome."

"I hope to be able to fulfill my obligation without press attention. I think the spotlight should be on issues such as homelessness and domestic violence instead of on me."

What do you think? Did Lohan get off too lightly?

Has anyone thought to send Loha to a pschycologist to work out her drug and Alcohol, as well as shop lifting antics. It all shows that she needs the adrenalin rush by doing all these things. Lohan thrives on breaking the law. Drug and Alcohol counceling is not enough for her. Hell Psychology or Psychiatrist is what she really, really needs ! !

Ok, so she violated probation (some of the times) by testing poitive for alcohol and/or drugs and the Judges solution to this problem is to stop testing her? Wow. While I don't think another stint in rehab will help her right now, she does not yet want to get sober, loosening up the conditions of her probation after all the violations is absurd. So now she'll be at home, bored on house arrest with no alcohol or drug testing looming over her. Does not seem like a good combo for an addict. So since she's shown she drank in rehab now she could concieveably spend her house arrest in a drunken fog and not worry about being tested? Great idea Judge, just great.
