I thought Gaga's American Idol rendition "Edge of Glory" was tamed compared to her "Alejandro" performance on AI in 2010. She's obviously not going to be typical rainbows and sunshine like Taylor Swift, but she brings edginess and is by no means a boring performer. The song has a beautiful message and she's a great role model for children to be themselves without caring what negative people think of you. The negative people only hate her because she is able to make money with her talent and charisma and they can't because they don't have either.

LadyGaga is a Satanist and the top whore for the Illuminati. THAT HEAD PIECE IS PURE PAGAN SYMBOLOGY. THIS SONG IS ABOUT FUCKING DEMONS AND KILLING YOURSELF, WAKE UP PEOPLE THE KINGDOM OF HEAVAN IS UPON US! PRAY FOR FORGIVENESS. RENOUNCE THIS EVIL CUNT

I saw the Lady Gaga performance on American Idol and I did not think it was by any means distasteful or too hot for younger viewers. It was a bit torrid but it was done very artfully and was very inspiring. So much so that its sensuality deserved appreciation over any kind of scorn. Sex is almost always portrayed in a lewd and obscene matter on TV, this was so artful it ought to be commended. To complain of this is kind of like not letting your young kids watch Schindler's List because of the nudity. Everything in its proper context.

"a song in memory of her grandfather", yeah like thats making him roll over in his grave! Since when did fine talent and a great voice have to mean shoving your "crotch" up in the air? This performance is fine for those of us who attend a "Lady Gaga" show, but American Idol....I don't think so!

"Some parents may complain, but it was an elaborate, dazzling performance the crowd at the Nokia Theatre loved. Because it's Lady Gaga. Bow down!"

    Wow. Talk about unbiased journalism.

@Monkey...aren't you forgetting Gaga's biggest influence? 20 years ago, there was one performer groping herself on stage and "humping" her male dancers, Madonna. How shocked people were! But we all turned out just fine anyway!

With all the work to develop parental controls so young children are not exposed to sexually suggestive things, WHY would the producers of American Idol let Gaga perform that song that way???? I'm no prude, but that guy moved over her in a way that left little to the imagination....and .....her pose with her leg up on the rock to expose her entire crotch was just disgusting. Save this for the adult only shows, Gaga. You have responsiblity for your content when you are performing on a "family" show.

I think there is a fine line of what is appropriate for children, teens and young adults. Things are very different from when I was a kid(only 20 yrs ago) and there was no Lady Gaga or Adam groping and humping there dancers. Times have change and so will the entertainment. Good luck keeping kids away from this.
