Jon Stewart OWNS Fox News Over Common White House "Controversy"
by Free Britney at .As expected, some well-known Fox News "journalists" were all fired up about Common's White House visit this week, during which the rapper read a poem.
As expected, Jon Stewart took them to task in an EPIC rant last night.
In typical Stewart fashion, he shredded their argument by simply using Fox News' own words against it, making the network look like an absolute joke:
You wouldn't assume a Comedy Central show would be more trustworthy than a quote-unquote news channel, but it's fairly obvious that's the case here.
Regardless of whether Common should have been asked to attend Michelle Obama's poetry event, Fox News is just pulling stuff out of its collective arse.
Between their obvious hypocrisy, misquoting of Common and twisting anything to stir up controversy, it was not their best week, even by their low standards.

look at all their anchors. o'reilly, beck, hannity, huckabee. all hardcore conservatives. where are the liberals? how is it fair and balanced?
I have never seen a more biased article in my life. Why don't people look at the big picture rather than trusting what some guy on a comedy show who you like because he's "funny" and "entertaining". That guy is out for ratings and people to like him.I'm sorry if you think Fox News, just because they air everything and don't defend Obama 24/7 like msnbc...is some sort of ultra conservative force. Yes, they have about 2 very conservative people on their news cast, Beck and Hannity. Every other person is absolutly balanced and they have a large cast of liberal and conservative pundints. Look at msnbc every single news anchor and pundit is ultra liberal. Its funny if you think about it.
whatever common's personal views are is his business. he is entitled to his opinons and unlike faux news he does not shove them down our throats as truth when it is in fact fiction. he is one of the best enlightemed rappwra and spoken word poets out there and he is from chicago! of course he waa going to be picked. and i am a black republican who happens to be fed up with the entire poltical system. free britney and jon stewart keep it reap. case closed.
The Hollywood Gossip and Free Britney (whoever THAT is) clearly see things from a far-left perspective. Fox News thought it was a bad idea to invite Common into 'the people's house' because the majority of Americans, unlike Common, do not openly support convicted cop killers (Assata Shakur and Mumia Abu-Jamal). Funny Jon Stewart didn't mention that in his anti-Fox rant.
don't know how many times I have Googled after a Fox clip and in a fraction of a second have thousands of hits exposing their lie. It's always been too easy. Darn that Google!
