I can easily believe that the cast of Two and a half men are glad that the recent months of uncertainty regarding their employment at this sitcom has been resolved. I believe that they would have been glad to have any qualified actor to step up and come in as Jon and Angus's co star if it meant keeping their jobs. Ashton taking on the responsibility of walking in and creating a New role, when he could have just as easily turned it down, speaks a lot about his intentions to carry on with the show with continued success!!

Hooray. I'll actually watch the show now. Sheen was too repugnant in his personal life for me to separate the two. Way to go, Lorre, Moonves and CBS!

Ashton will be great, great choice by the network - Ashton is actually a decent comic actor with great delivery, something which Charlie Sheen NEVER was. The writing on the show is excellent and Sheen got amazing lines and it made him look good - but he did not ACT - he simply read the lines. AND, Sheen is NOT attractive with his spaghetti arms and legs - the guy is average at best and completely uncharming - goodbye Sheen! The supporting cast is excellent too, all of them better than Sheen - how the hell did they figure he deserved $2mill a show?!
