Chris Matthews on Sarah Palin: What a Moron!

by at . Comments

With his recent comment that Sarah Palin is profoundly stupid - his words - Chris Matthews is not showing any indications of dialing back his fiery rhetoric.

The host of MSNBC's Hardball took a shot at the ex-Alaska Governor Tuesday while discussing the presidential prospects of another Republican woman.

While talking about Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann’s shot at the 2012 GOP nod, Matthews was told by a guest analyst not to count out Sarah Palin.

He found that idea laughable, to say the least.

“I think Sarah Palin proved herself to be - I think she’s proven herself to be profoundly stupid,” Matthews said to applause on-location in Los Angeles.

“Her inability to answers the questions of Katie Couric, her inability of even now to explain if she ever reads anything... her absolute failure to begin studying and get serious about running for president,” he continued.

“She has shown no effort to doing any homework or understanding issues about the economy or science or the world. No effort and she’s running for president? I don’t believe she would be at all helpful to our republic.”

Well that leaves clears up where Chris stands. We're not even gonna touch this.

Obviously, Rachel Reading, you've never sat and actually listened to either of these idiots being interviewed. "Stupid" and "retarded" are more than appropriate for Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann and anyone brainless enough to vote for either. If either was voted into office, it would definitely be the final sign of the apocalypse!!

Hey MJS, Could you tell us what constitutional right President Obama has taken away from us?

obama is the dummy, he only got into Harvard because he was black... Look how he, the big so-called smart guy, is running this country into the ground. Chris Matthews? About 5 people watch his show and the guy has a serious, serious drinking problem. Although I don't think Palin is my pick for President, I'd vote for her OVER ANYBODY OR INANIMATE OBJECT over the peanut headed obama. She's aware we have a Constitution and believes in it.

You're missing the point. Is this guy supposed to be a professional? If you don't think a candidate, any candidate, is qualified by all means say so. What he is doing is a personal attack on a person who has not even announced that they're running! Perhaps he's the one who is not qualified to do his job. He's lost his journalistic integrity. He's the left wings answer to Rush Limbaugh. A bombastic blowhard.

Why, oh why, would anyone vote for Sarah Palin? Do you really want her leading us if there was a World War 3? Do you really want her "dizzy" hand on the button to launch nuclear missiles or not launch them? Do you really want her telling the military intelligence what they should do about terrorists in our own country? Or, would you prefer she was a tour guide for Alaskan Wilderness? I'd take the tour guide.

Hey Chris look in the mirror and you will see a moron.

And let me just say that "stupid" and "retarded" are used far too often and should be eliminated from our vocabulary. Because no one deserves to be called either one of them.

This is exactly why I do not watch MSNBC. Chris Matthews likes to pretend that he's better and smarter than everyone else, but calling someone stupid is ignorant no matter who it is. Sarah Palin is not the smartest tool in the shed but she obviously has some smarts b/c she wouldn't have gotten to where she is if she was as stupid as people make her out to be. I think it's profoundly unprofessional to call someone stupid. Chris Matthews and some other people at MSNBC are profoundly arrogant - more so than anyone else on the other news channels like Fox News and CNN. If I'm going to watch the evening news, I don't want someone telling me the news who acts like he is above it.

What I've had to do, though, is in the middle of the night, put down the Blackberries and pick up the breast pump. Do a couple of things different and still get it all done.

I am thankful to be married to a man who loves being a dad as much as I love being a mom so he is my strength. And practically speaking, we have a great network of help with lots of grandparents and aunties and uncles all around us. We have a lot of help.
