Extended Preview For The Voice: Will You Watch?
NBC released a lengthy preview for The Voice - the network's take on American Idol, X-Factor and the like - last night. It's certainly ... well, it's different.
Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are the judges and must pick talent in "blind" auditions where only The Voice counts.
Seriously. Their backs are turned to the performers ...
Interestingly, while the singers aspire to be chosen, the judges are also competing with each other to groom the best and brightest up-and-comers.
On one hand, it's an interesting new spin. On the other, it's seems gimmicky.
It's hard to see this finding a niche in an already saturated market for reality TV music competitions, and the idea that image doesn't matter is debatable.
Maybe we're off base and this will become a HUGE hit, but we have our doubts. Does the preview above make you want to watch Tuesday's premiere? Tell us.

will why not?! cee lo and aguilera are known for thier voices and they are populer people, at the end of the day people enjoy the good voices and the songs and aguilera really gived a respected art will last forever after 5 years of her song (hurt) and about 8 years for (fighter, beautiful) etc people still loves these songs,
all young people enjoy them like spears dance
the apperance fade, look at britney spears her image hepled her in her beging but look now she collobrate with rihanna and niki menag, and she isnt giving any art or meaning to any thing just beautiful face.
look to gaga what she is doing even her last song born this way is supposed to give a message and i dont think someone get this message!!
every where thier is a performer and singer
you will enjoy a good singer like you will enjoy a good dancer
this idea make people feel better about them selves
but maybe it will not work in america coz people like spears which at the end they destory her coz

I've watched the previews on On Demand from Charter. Looks like a really fun show and I don't watch things like Am. Idol. It's very funny when the Judges have to compete against each other to get the contestant to pick them. They say hilariously nasty things about each other and I LOVE they cannot see the person singing to begin with. It's about time things got fair.
