Report: Emily Maynard and Brad Womack Break Up!

by at . Comments

It's over, Emily Maynard told Brad Womack on the phone.

That's what Life & Style reports about an April 9 conversation between The Bachelor couple, after she just couldn't imagine marrying the guy.

"Emily told Brad that she can't picture them getting married," an insider reveals to Life & Style. "Brad's not acting like a fiancé, and she knows that he's not going to change. Emily knows in her heart of hearts that the relationship is finished."

Emily Maynard and Brad Womack Split?

Emily Maynard "was very close to moving to Austin with her daughter, Ricki, just a few weeks ago, but that's not true anymore," the insider says.

In fact, Brad put an offer on a new home without consulting Emily Maynard first: "This isn't the behavior of someone who plans to be with her."

The reason for the split stemmed from Brad's hurtful and erratic behavior, L&S says, and the fact that Emily became fearful he was cheating.

"Brad seemed very complacent all of a sudden," says the insider.

"He did everything he could to woo and charm Emily on the show, and then it just slowed. Emily knows he likes Texas, he likes his bars and booze, so she's just wondering if he likes someone else. It started to really worry Emily."

"She felt like, 'If he's not wanting to see her, who is he with?'"

So why hasn't Emily simply announced a split? Her contract with ABC prevents her from speaking out about the relationship without ABC's green light.

ABC called her on April 13 specifically to remind her of that.

Though the network can't force them together, a source says they encouraged Emily to try to work things out with Brad Womack. You know, if she can.

Still, the engagement ring is reportedly off, as is the wedding.

Not sure if this story is true or not, since it comes to us courtesy of Life & Freaking Style, but at the same time, would it surprise us? Not particularly.

It is somewhere near the level of paying the "people" from the Garden State to live a questionable bubble life together and get paid tens of thousands to do it! As an RN, who was in many life or death situations making a very small portion of that, it's obvious that many in our society value ignorance over knowledge and skill. Very glad for Trista and Ryan though!!! Perhaps they should have quit when they were ahead...???

Wow....what a lack of class !!!! Breaking up (again) over the phone. Shows how immature Emily really is and how she doesn't want to leave the gravy train she is on. The Hendricks must really own her BIG time. For someone her age she sure has a fancy house, expensive clothes, expensive jewelery etc etc. She just wants to carry on her "woe is me" game for the rest of her life. Just hope it doesn't rub off on her daughter ...who already appears to be a spoiled brat. As for Brad, I feel sorry for him. I think he is a good guy.....and up front. Emily on the other hand is a spoiled, bleached blonde Southern bimbo !!!! I do hope the best for Brad...

I only heard that one but I don't hear other magazines or rumor but I did suspect it will not work out for them, Brad is not good to ANYONE plus EMILY. Oh welllllLlllllllLlll

Only 3 couples (Trista and Ryan, Jason and Molly and Ali and Roberto made it so far because they wanted to make it work. Brad and Emily were not on the same page because of that the relationship didn't flourish. He made it clear the woman he chooses moves to Austin and she was reluctant to do so because she had a daughter which is understandable but if Emily really loved him she would not have any reservations. It made me question Emily's reasons why she stayed and accepted rose after rose. As for his 'temper,' issues Emily has one too which she admitted so if anyone thinks Brad is being a villain watch After the Final Rose again. The red flags were more on Emily than Brad.

She has always been overprotective and afraid of change, pretty much if they went to therapy like Brad does maybe it would work out but Brad said he didn't want to be alone for the rest of his life, so hopefully they can try again.

I agree, its a stupid show..no one ever ends up together after all the BS..thats not a way to find a life partner..its all just for tv and any of the stupid women that think they are gonna find prince charming on a tv show and in just a matter of weeks is delusional anyway..come on abc..give us something real for entertainmant..the show is a joke..and I don't even watch it..I prefer real entertainment, not all these stupid "reality" shows..I agree, it should be called whoring for dollars..a bunch of desperate women fighting over a stupid man that doesn't even deserve a real woman...

Oh, really. What a surprise?!?! This is the stupidest show on TV anyway. Who really cares other than the 2 idiots that were the last 2 on the show thinking that was 'a match made in heaven'. Then again if either on was all that smart they wouldn't have been on this show in the first place.

Just who really believes that putting a person together with 30 or fourty strangers will result in Life Long Love and marriage.. You have a better chance of hitting the lottery than finding a marriage partner. Why not just call it what it is.. "Ultimate Date" and forget about the whole marriage thing.. dump a bunch of hot women, with a guy and see what happens..or dump a bunch of hot guys with a woman and see what happens. Would probably be better than the b.s. outcome that viewers look for. I mean really 15 seasons and one marriage?? LOL.. give me a break.. or you could call it whoring for dollars...that's what it really looks like...but it's JMO...

The Bachelor Quotes

There’s still a lot of growing to do in our relationship. We will not tie the knot until I am mentally and physically prepared as well as Matt.

Shayne Lamas

It was a fairytale proposal like I’ve always dreamed about. I forgot that there [were] cameras around. In that moment, it was just Matt and I and it was the most amazing moment of my entire life.
