Richie Sambora is checking into rehab, according to reports.

The guitar great is coming off a highly successful tour with Bon Jovi, but will be checking into a rehab facility for exhaustion and to regain his sobriety.

Richie Sambora on Stage

He spent time at Cirque Lodge in Utah in 2007 after his marriage to Heather Locklear unraveled, he split with girlfriend Denise Richards and his father died of lung cancer. That's a lot in such a short period of time. But why now?

”Richie recently has been drinking too much, and wants to get his life together," a source told Radar Online, saying the band is supportive of the decision.

"Richie has had a busy year," a close friend said. "I think this was a culmination of all the things that overloaded his life, and he needs to care of himself.”

It was not immediately clear how Sambora's treatment will affect his role in Bon Jovi, which will continue to tour the U.S. and Europe this summer.

Here's wishing him a full and speedy recovery back to health.

Atlanta Braves soach Roger McDowell has issued an apology for his behavior at San Francisco's AT&T Stadium last weekend, where he got into it with some fans.

“I am deeply sorry that I responded to the heckling fans in San Francisco on Saturday. I apologize to everyone for my actions,” McDowell said in a statement.

Respond he did. With gay slurs. During batting practice before the Braves played the Giants, McDowell called three men who were sitting together “homos.”

He also simulated having sex with a baseball bat.

Sitting nearby was Justin Quinn and his twin nine-year-old twin girls. Quinn was outraged at McDowell’s behavior and told the former MLB pitcher as much.

McDowell then Quinn, “Kids don’t f**king belong at the ball park.”

McDowell also appeared to threaten the protective dad, asking him, “how much are your teeth worth?” as he held a baseball bat. Sounds like a class act.

MLB Commissioner Bud Selig has said his office will be investigating the situation, and Gloria Allred has gotten involved (obviously) on behalf of Quinn.

Somehow we think this may not end with Roger's apology.

Clad in matching white shirts and posing for a classy black and white portrait for their wedding program, Prince William and Kate Middleton look simply wonderful.

On the eve of the historic April 29 Royal Wedding, famed photographer Mario Testino captured this image of the newlyweds-to-be for the wedding program.

Don't they just look like the most adorable couple?

William and Kate Wedding Portrait

ROYALLY CUTE: Seriously, how sweet are they? It's not like there are any non-cute Prince William and Kate Middleton pictures, but this one might take the cake.

"I am very happy to have been asked to cover this historic moment that the world was waiting for. They are in their prime, brimming with happiness," Testino said.

"I have never felt so much joy as when I see them together."

Tomorrow morning, two billion people will share that joy.

James Rainford, the stalker arrested in front of Paris Hilton's house last fall, resurfaced yesterday and actually came at Paris outside a courthouse.

The attack on Paris and Cy Waits, ironically, came while they were walking in to court to testify against a different man accused of stalking Hilton last year.

Video taken on the scene of the melee shows Rainford punching Waits in the back of the head and grabbing at his neck before being taken into custody.

Rangford says he wanted her autograph ... on his marriage proposal to her. The guy is not what you'd call stable. Watch the altercation go down below:

Haley Reinhart's version of Carole King's "Beautiful" - a bit of a surprise choice from the singer - was good, but not great last night on American Idol.

But we can blame her background singers and ear monitor, neither of which did her any favors. Despite those hiccups, it was a cool arrangement.

Heck, to hear one observer tell it, it was beyond perfect: "Haley, you are as beautiful as all that song is," Steven Tyler says. "I just saw God."

Not hyperbolic at all, is he? In all seriousness, she was good:

Follow the jump to watch Haley's second performance of the night, a duet with Casey Abrams, and then vote on who you think was the best:

Wednesday on American Idol, Casey Abrams picked "Hi-De-Ho (That Old Sweet Roll)" from Carole King's catalog - a song made famous by Blood, Sweat & Tears.

While there was no blood, sweat or tears on the stage (well, maybe a little sweat), there was plenty of passion from Casey, who remains a unique performer.

"You always keep this show different," Randy said. "I'm excited every time you're up there, because I know I'm going to see something different."

"It's like this song was written for you."

He may not win this competition, but every week he sticks around, the Ace of Bass proves more and more deserving of the controversial  judges' save.

Later, Casey and Haley Reinhart dueted on "I Feel The Earth Move." Did it move for you after listening to their rendition of this King classic? See below:

CBS' Bob Schieffer has come out and said what many in the news industry are probably thinking but are understandably hesitant to go on record about:

That Donald Trump's incessant criticism of President Obama is racially motivated.

The host of Face the Nation, visibly upset, called Trump a racist last night on the CBS Evening News, and not just for Trump's Obama birth certificate crusade.

Schieffer was also talking about Trump's suggestion that Obama is not Ivy League material and may not have had the grades to get into Harvard Law School.

The context of Trump's comments was Obama not releasing his transcripts.

"That's just code for saying he got into law school because he's black," Schieffer said. "This is an ugly strain of racism that's running through this whole thing."

Earlier in the week, Trump said, "I have friends who have smart sons with great marks, great boards, great everything and they can't get into Harvard."

"We don't know a thing about this guy. There are a lot of unanswered questions."

While it's fine to bash Obama - heck, it's your right! - that doesn't mean Trump's not out of line. What do you think? Are Trump's criticisms racist?

Lauren Alaina was nervous about going for a high note last night.

Interestingly, what she felt were the toughest parts of "Where You Lead (I Will Follow)" - a Carole King classic that later became the Gilmore Girls theme - were actually where she was at her best. Maybe she needs to give herself more credit.

She sounded great when she sang in harmony with her backing vocalists, too. Watch and listen to her performance here and see what you think:

Think she'll survive another week? It looks good for her. Meanwhile, Lauren joined Scotty McCreery on a duet, which you can see after the jump:

After a lackluster effort a week ago, Scotty McCreery sought to expand the range of his delivery with his performance of "You've Got a Friend" Wednesday.

While imperfect, it was still a distinct vocal performance that showed improvement from the guy, and that won raves from both the judges and audience.

Watch him sing the Carole King song that James Taylor popularized here and tell us if you think he has the skills to make the finals of American Idol ...

Meanwhile, Scotty and Lauren Alaina sang their third duet of the season, and while they each sound lovely on their solo lines, together it didn't quite mesh.

At least we didn't think so. You decide after the jump:

Miami Heat star Chris Bosh and Adrienne Williams were married on April 9, according to their official wedding certificate filed in Miami Beach.

Congratulations on the wedding he denied took place!

While we now know Bosh wed Adrienne Nicole Williams, the baller denied that he had done so at an NBA news conference shortly thereafter.

According to the courts in Miami-Dade County, Chris and Adrienne are officially husband and wife, whether he acknowledges it publicly or not.

Chris' relationship with his ex, Allison Mathis, has been playing out in the media thanks to her attempts to get on the show Basketball Wives.

Perhaps he just wants to keep his private life under wraps from now on after that experience. Hard to blame the seven-footer for that, really.

In other news, Bosh scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Heat ousted Philadelphia from the playoffs last night. Nice work!
