I agree 100% with Tracey!! It is important to forgive, but never forget. If one forgets and ignore history nothing will ever be learned and the world will stay the same. One must learn from history in order to move on.

not to sound stupid or anything but whats a Genocide ?

@ Sue First I didn't read that she hated Turkish people. Second what you wrote does sound heartless especially since the Turkish government uses blackmail to try and stop other countries from recognizing the Armenian Genocide. How can you expect a people to forgive when the other group won't acknowledge what happened let alone offer an apology. Also it is great to live in the present but to ignore history means no one will learn from it.I think your statement proves that.

I agree Sue 100% work towards peace. not hate. Ignorance only makes the world smaller.

I think it's time to get over it and move on. I know that sounds heartless, but hatred is toxic to our world. She hates an entire nation for something that happened to her ancestors a long, long time ago. It's time to see all people as individuals, and live in the present. Maybe she could work to IMPROVE relations between the Turkish and Armenian people rather than continuing the hatred and racism.
