HONESTLY THINK ABOUT IT...WHY ARE QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS LIKE TRUMPS BEING ASKED??? IN MY OPINION HIM BEING A BLACK MAN IS ONLY A SMALL PART OF IT. I THINK THE FACT THAT HE HAD A MUSLIM FATHER WHO GAVE HIM A VERY MUSLIM NAME SCARES PEOPLE. THEIR IS SUCH A FEAR OF MUSLIMS SINCE 9/11 BUT WE ALL NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT ISLAM IS NOT TERRORISM. THOSE PEOPLE WERE RADICALS AND WE HAVE RADICALS IN EVERY RELIGION. THOSE PEOPLE MISREPRESENT THE BEAUTY OF RELIGION AND PUT FEAR IN PPL. I MYSELF AM NOT MUSLIM. I AM BELIEVER IN CHRIST, BUT I AM VERY OPEN MINDED AND TRY TO LOOK AT THE FACTS. HIS BIRTHPLACE IS BEING QUESTIONED BECAUSE WE FEAR ISLAM. HE SEEMS VERY MUCH TO BE A CHRISTIAN MAN. BUT BECAUSE OF WHO IS FATHER WAS AND BECAUSE OF HIS NAME, PEOPLE ARE FEARFUL AND IT IS SAD...

What do the Red Indians have to say about all this? They belong there more than both these guys!

I'm so sick of African Americans making everything about race. All the man wants to see is a legit fucking birth certificate. What happens if Obama really IS Muslim or some shit like that? African Americans who throw the word racist around every time someone questions Obama's birth certificate or Presidential decisions are going to feel like real dumb asses.
Most white people are so over that racist bullshit. The only ones still bringing it up every chance they get are AFRICAN AMERICANS. Seriously. Get the fuck over it. Mostly no one cares about the color of your skin anymore, so shut the fuck up already and quit milking it.

Trump is asking about Nationality - racism regards ethnicity. In actuality, I think Caucasians are the victims of more racial injustice these days. In University, start up an African American Law Student Society, Hispanic Accounting Group, etc and that is A-OK... start up a Caucasian/White Club and its automatically the KKK at work.

It Never seems to fail that whenever two people have a disagreement, it is usually just 2 two different opinions, but it seems to be that whenever 2 people of different races have a difference of opinion, the word racist comes along with the disagreement. As much as I disagree about Trump's sudden interest
in where Mr. Obama was born,I most certainly decline to label him a racist because he suddenly questions the president's birhplace. Now does this make Mr. Legend a racist for calling Mr. Trump a racist?? There are times, that term is overblown when it does Not Need to be!!

To chicken fucker: Who the fuck are you talking about??!! You seems and probably are in your own "White Power" world and that's oh so great for you. hey,i looked up past presidents and they asked for dwight d. Eisenhowers birth certificate, i believe these are the only two presidents though.

I have looked at a facsimile of Obama's birth certificate. It seems to be issued by the state of Hawaii and not a hospital. I'd really like the hospital to be documented as well as the name of the doctor. Trump did that for his own birth.
There was much argument over whether McCain was truly a natural born citizen. You can still find it all over the net. In case you've forgotten, McCain is white.

Everyone knows that I am not a fan of Donald Trump.

That being said, what I think John is trying to say is that "why even bring it up now? isn't there more important issues to talk about like the national budget if you are seriously contemplating running for president next year? Or are you just vying for attention since your show is flailing beyond repair?"

PS - In actuality, Donald Trump wasn't born in the U.S. either. If you look closely at the fine print the location of his birth actually reads "hell".

I agree with HazylMarie. None of us would be having this conversation if the president was white. but then Idk why we're having this conversation in the first place... Donald Trump has a right for freedom of speech, which entitles him to question whatever the hell he wants and I don't care what John Legend thinks about that.
