Jacob Lusk: Sabotaged By American Idol Producers?
Let the conspiracy theories begin.
Having drawn comparisons to Luther Vandross all season long, Jacob Lusk tackled the singer's "Dance With My Father" on American Idol Wednesday night.
It seemed like this was a great opportunity for the Idol hopeful to really shine, but Jacob had trouble from the very first notes. The reason for that? Well ...
When Ryan Seacrest asked why he was so emotional at the onset, Jacob said it wasn’t his emotions - there were mysterious drumming noises in his earpiece!
The mixup certainly didn't help an already fringe candidate. What do you think? Could it have been intentional? Take a look below and see what you think:

Too many tears, too much emotion in general, too much screeching, too much animation. He needed to be voted out some time ago. Talk about consistency? He has had a few good songs but he has not been consistenly good or even pretty good. He has just had his moments.

I have been watching Idol for all 10 years, and Jacob is the best singer to EVER be on this show! Even if he doesn't win Idol, he will be a mega superstar, wait and see! I don't see what the fascination is with with Scotty. He is a one trick pony, a little weird, and boring. Lauren is not confident and boring. Haley is full of herself and not that good. James is a good singer, but he screeches too much and an Adam Lambert want to be and he is arrogant and cocky. In my opinion, Jacob is the total package. He has the personality, the stage presence, the confidence, and the best voice in this competition. He does things with his voice that the others can only dream about doing. He takes you on a journey with his voice and moves your soul. I will buy every album he puts out and go to his concerts. I am a Jacob Lusk fan forever. GO JACOB! OMG PEOPLE. Jacob has an amazing voice. I've loved listening to him from the beginning. If anyone is over-rated it is Casey. Tired of him and I think he is boring and when he sings all I think of is him in a smoke filled juke joint (where he belongs). If you don't like Jacob, next time he sings, close your eyes and just listen, truly an awesome voice.

FIrst time JL sang I thought it was one of the best performances in the history of the show.
But, he has somehow lost his vibe and is now coming accross like an arrogant jerk.

Thousands and thousands of bouquets to the New American Idol Team! Thanks to Randy, the most beautiufl woman in the world Jennifer and you also sing sexy and omg what you did with a mic stand Steven and the one and only Ryan - you have all made this show so "human" and "humane" - we just love it! The goose bumps, the tears, the laughs and the anxiety when the TV lost signal - we are loyal followers of not only the contestants who are FANTASTIC and although I do have my favourite and "she" has been from her audition, I am glad I do not have to vote. I love them all - but for me its the judges and host who have turned AMERICAN IDOLS AROUND..... not sure if I will ever been in a position to visit the USA again but if I am I would love to be able to pay a visit to the set. Take care EVERYONE... and PLEASE DON'T EVER CHANGE THE JUDGES !!!!! Love to you all from a "wanna-be" singer from South Africa. xoxox

Jacob Lusk has had great moments on AI as ALL these final contenders have. However I believe that if he spent as much time on pitch, tone quality and all that it takes to deliver a song that will show off the voice that we glimpsed earlier this season. Recently Jacob has been a big disappointment. He's gone from Saint Jacob the Arrogant Preacher to the humble, head bowed, millenium version of Kunta Kinte after his foot was chopped off. I'm just not buying any of his new drama & certainly can't understand WHY he stayed longer than Stefano. (PS-Scotty has over stayed his welcome, in my opinion. He's like a one trick pony) By the way, I am African American, and my comments about Jacob had nothing to do with any type of racial bias on my part.

Jacob is the best American Idol has ever had - so I cannot understand why they sabotaging him! Lets all vote to keep Jacob all the way!!!
