Bret Easton Ellis Said WHAT About Glee?!?
Good news for Victoria Jackson. The former Saturday Night Live star, who said Glee makes kids gay, has no longer uttered the most ridiculous, disparaging remark about the Fox hit.
Just read what Bret Easton Ellis, an author best known for American Psycho, Tweeted last night: "I like the idea of Glee but why is it that every time I watch an episode I feel like I've stepped into a puddle of HIV?"
Ummm... because you're a fear-mongering, ignorant moron?

Ellis has over 141,000 followers on Twitter and has said in the past that he doesn't identify as gay or straight. He's also released similarly strange, bitter Tweets in the past.
During the "It Gets Better" campaign, which debuted soon after a rash of teen suicide and which featured a number of celebrities sending positive messages to gay youths, Ellis wrote: "Not to bum everyone out, but can we get a reality check here? It gets worse."
Sure. For close-minded bigots perhaps.

I have read Ellis since Less Than Zero and every novel following. So when I got that tweet, I thought it was pretty funny, my friends thought it was pretty funny also, then again we're semi-familiar with the author of the post.
Do you know why we felt it was SO funny...
It was so true, I felt the same EXACT way.
All things considered, that comment could have been SO much worse...

I don't identify as gay or straight either. Why the hell should I when I'm not either of those things and only a close-minded bigot would expect me to?
