American Idol Power Rankings: James' Game to Lose?
The Voice premiere was fun, but it's back to business on Fox tonight.
With the top six on tap to perform tonight, THG's American Idol Power Rankings break down who we like this week and who we think is likely to go home.
Of course, who we think leads and lags means little in the end (we called Stefano, but that was easy), but it's fun to try our hand at predicting the show.
Take a look at how we size up the field and see if you agree:
Can anyone match the fire of James Durbin?
1. James Durbin. Week in and week out he strikes us as the best. Then again, so did Adam Lambert, and he lost the title in a shocker. So no guarantees.
2. Lauren Alaina. The anti-girl bias is working hard against her, but she's shown no signs of fading and giving fans a reason to kick her out. Thus far.
3. Scotty McCreery. Falls from #1 in last week's rankings after a mediocre effort. But he's still got the chops, and more importantly, the female votes.
4. Casey Abrams. A step above Haley and Jacob, but a small-ish step.
5. Haley Reinhart. Four times in the bottom three so far in the finals for Hails. The only other one who can claim that is ... Stefano Langone. Bad sign.
6. Jacob Lusk. Living on borrowed time for a while now. The only question is whether the producers sabotage him again. Just kidding. Mostly.
How do you size up the competition? Leave a comment and tell us!

American Idol is changing, it used to be a show where southern/country singers had the advantage, Scotty was the frontrunner from the beginning with James right behind him but thanks to other contestants, new people are tuning in and voting. Casey and Haley have brought something new to the table that nobody has seen before. Haley slammed out "Benny and the Jets" and completely turned the competition upside down. James is still popular, Scotty is fading, Lauren is on bought time, in the end the singer that layed down the best performance will win the competition or make it to the finals, might sound shocking but I believe Haley is gonna shock the world, she's been apart of the two best performances of the season.

James - absolutely desereving of the next American Idol title
Lauren - not fully cooked yet!
Scotty - Johnny One-Note
Casey aka Grunty The Clown - Oops! I crapped my pants.
Haley - Talent with an attitude, unfortunately the wrong one!
Jacob - Dream Girls wannabee, enough already!

As an old lover of pop music, I was most impressed by James' performance of the 1960 Shirelles hit, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? His performance reminded me of an old great singer, Roy Orbison. This boy deserves to win!!!!

James did it for me! What he shares with Adam Lambert is his deep desire to be who he is and bring it all on stage. However, no-one should compare him to Adam Lambert who is in a category all to himself...best entertainer....best vocalist...honest and caring. Also, the sexiest.

Thank you, June ! I agree , Please people don't let this be another Adam and Crystal nightmare. Vote like you have never before for this guy, he is deserving of the title handsdown !!!! I love James Durbin and can't wait to see him on tour !

Wrong about autism. Not automatically entitled to SSD. Every heard of Temple Grandin? My grandson is autistic and is brilliant, will never draw a dime of SSD, will graduate college and live a productive life, but is very quirky and "different". James is my pick because of his talent, not his disability, which is obvious if you watch him when he is not singing. I love Scotty and Lauren also and am sure I will see them on CMT.

James Durbin is the best contestant American Idol has had since Carrie Underwood. How people can say he can't compare to Adam Lambert, who in my opinion was horrible, shows me these people don't have a true EAR for music. James' performance last night of Will you love me tomorrow was off the charts!! If this young man doesn't win this competition I want to know WHY!!!!!!!!

What "anti-girl" bias?
Also, Casey is great.
