American Idol Performances: Fantasia, Jamie Foxx and will.i.am
by Hilton Hater at .American Idol sent two contestants home last night, as it was the end of the singing line for Naima Adedapo and Thia Megia.
But the sad news for fans of those finalists was pre-empted by by a couple of entertaining performances.
First, Fantasia Barrino returned to the stage that made her famous and got the crowd on its feet for a rendition of "Collard Greens & Cornbread," giving a shout-out to Steven Tyler near the end of it. What do you think of this single? Give it a listen here:
Also, Jamie Foxx and will.i.am teamed up. They got down with a drum line and a series of dancers and introduced the world to "Hot Wings," their song off the Rio soundtrack. Check out the elaborate performance below.

@ Sarah..You have to understand that these people in the limelight have things made up and said about them all the time. We can't go around listening to everything we hear, and build from there.. that is not our job.. you never know what somebody is going through in their lives when they have to make decisions. I could assume that by your comments your old, negative, and miserable but your probably nothing like that. So you have to take it for what it is and let the personal lives be theirs just like our lives are ours...

Fantasia was amazing, Will i am and Jamie Foxx were lame.
As far as performance art MS Fantasia really nailed it totally her genre and so hot on her heels just a great performance. I did not think would like her as have seen her when she was a hot mess and this time I put her on par of Aretha or anyone...wow good job Fantasia. Truly great.
Fantasia won Idol because not only is she a terrific singer, she's an awesome performer. Something every other winner has lacked. Go Tasia!! You rocked the house and you looked FAB-U-LOUS!! Much love!!.
