It's a lot more than National Pancake Day, folks.

In case you hadn't heard, it's also Justin Bieber's birthday, as the young icon turns 17 years old. As you might expect, one of the fans who has sent out best wishes to the star is his mentor, Usher.

But the hip hop artist did a lot more than merely Tweet out "“Happy Birthday Lil Bro...I love you and hope you are enjoyin’ your BIG 17th" this afternoon. He also posted a special birthday remix (below) and asked fans to donate to a worthy cause.

“Fight cancer & donate $10 to ACS in honor of JB’s bday," Usuer wrote. "Text BDAY to 20222."

Bieber himself has sent out a link to his Charity: Water page, as he attempts to raise $17,000 for clean water in developing nations. You really have to applaud both these stars for taking advantage of their celebrity in a worthwhile way, don't you?

New details have emerged on Christina Aguilera's recent arrest, and they don't make the singer or boyfriend Matthew Rutler look very good.

Sources tell TMZ that Christina and her man dined in a private room at posh Los Angeles restaurant Osteria Mozza until well past midnight. Deep into a couple bottles of wine, a fellow patron reportedly recognized Aguilera, asked the waiter to send her a drink and was told: "She's already drinking a bottle of wine... or two."

Hilarious.

Meanwhile, both Rutler and Aguilera have been released from jail. They are allegedly holing up in her Beverly Hills home.

Pulled over by police for swerving on the road, Rutler blew a .09 on the breathalyzer, according to Radar Online. The legal limit in California is .08. He doesn't look too broken up about it in the mug shove above, does he?

As for Christina, L.A. County Sheriff Office spokesperson Steve Whitmore says Aguilera was a complete mess when she and Rutler were pulled over: "When she got out of the car, she couldn't stand. We had to help her stand. She didn't know where she was and she didn't know her own address. We took her into custody for her own protection."

Lindsay Lohan is almost lost in the shuffle these days.

With Charlie Sheen stealing all of her tabloid thunder, the train wreck and alleged jewel thief can't even get any major PR for an interview on Extra.

The troubled starlet admitted to the celebrity news program that she's got a long way to go before reclaiming a spot atop the Hollywood food chain.

Maybe Charlie can invite her to shack up with himself and the goddesses. Rachel Oberlin and Natalie Kenly certainly seem like welcoming people.

Currently up on a felony theft charge in connection with a $2,500 necklace she's accused of lifting, Lindsay says she feels "great" and "happy" these days.

"There's always bumps that we have in the road," she said. "As long as I'm focusing [on my recovery], I'm doing good and that's most important for me."

Not at grammar, but oh well. Lindsay, whose excuse in the jewel heist case may be corroborated by surveillance footage, just wants to get back to work.

Asked if there's any stars she'd like to work with, Lohan said she's in no place to seek privileges like that right now, but these things will reappear in time.

"I have to build myself back up and I get that," she said, surprisingly maturely. The full interview airs tonight ... unless Sheen does something crazier.

Kim Kardashian has given fans a sneak peek at her upcoming music video. (Yes, Kim Kardashian really is coming out with a music video.)

On her official blog, Kim has posted the following photo of herself in braids, a Bo Derek-inspired look stylist Hype Williams reportedly came up with. What do you think?

Honeymoonin'

There's no release date yet for the video, but Kim has said the single itself - titled "Turn It Up" - will hit the radio within a few weeks.

"I'm excited (and a little nervous) for you all to hear the song and watch the video," Kardashian wrote. "I really hope you all like it!"

Allow us to help you stop wondering, Kim: We won't.

Having come out as a lesbian in December 2009 on Today, Meredith Baxter returned to the NBC program to make another announcement Tuesday:

She was a victim of domestic violence.

Baxter, best known as the mom on Family Ties, alleged her ex-husband and Bridget Loves Birney co-star, David Birney, abused her in their marriage.

When asked why she stayed with Birney, who denies the allegations, Baxter replied, "I didn't know I had a choice. I didn't know I could go."

She adds that Birney purposefully set his sights on her.

"He's not going to pick someone who's on top of themselves and who's confident and aggressive," she said. "For him to be who he needed to be, it needed to be someone who was mousy and quiet and retiring, and that's what I was."

Perhaps this will help you choose between Bree Olson and Natalie Kenly...

On an ABC interview that will air this evening, Charlie Sheen introduces the world to the two women who he's been labeling his "goddesses" for the past week or so: Olson (real name: Rachel Oberlin) and Kenly.

Referring to their relationship with the actor, Olson calls Kenly by the nickname given to her by Cali Chronic X Magazine and says:

"Natty and Charlie have their own special connection, I have my own connection with Charlie and then Natty and I also have our own relationship," while Natalie adds: "It seems crazy to everybody else, but for us it works."

Concludes Sheen:

“It’s perfect. It’s awesome. Every day is just filled with just wins. All we do is put wins in the record books. We win so radically in our underwear before our first cup of coffee, it’s scary. People say it’s lonely at the top, but I sure like the view.”

And, really, how can anyone argue with that?!?

Ready to meet the world's luckiest alligator?

The reptile in question is featured on the cover of this month's Vanity Fair, wrapped around the body of Robert Pattinson. Why the combination of the animal and the actor?

Slicked Down

It's unclear, although the magazine wittily teases that Rob "wrestles his way out of the Twilight Zone," hyping his starring turn in next month's Water for Elephants. Of course, Pattinson still has a pair of Breaking Dawn movies remaining, so perhaps it's best to not wonder about the photo - and just drool over it instead...

Last week, a graphic photo of a battered Rihanna leaked.

That image showed, for the first time, the gruesome extent of the damage caused by then-boyfriend Chris Brown the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards.

Now, a new photo has surfaced that reportedly shows a lip injury Chris suffered the night he beat Rihanna up. The damage is minor, but it's still there.

MediaTakeOut, which broke the story, says the pic was taken after the fight, during which he claimed Rihanna hit him first. Follow the jump to see:

Natalie Portman has released a statement regarding the shockingly abrasive remarks made by designer John Galliano late last week.

The Dior Creative Designer was caught on camera over the weekend, blatantly saying he loves Hitler and telling a Jewish woman she would have "been gassed" if the former dictator was still in power.

Said Portman, who has worked with Galliano over the years: "I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano's comments that surfaced today. In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way.

"I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful."

In light the aforementioned incident, Dior has fired Galliano. Said Chairman and CEO Sidney Toledano: "I unequivocally condemn the statements made by John Galliano, which are in total contradiction to the longstanding core values of Christian Dior."
