I don't agree with you, coco blush, pop stars have never been as weird as gaga, it have always been about being beautiful, fantastic etc... But gaga looks weird and ugly in her videos (which is something i really like). But nevertheless i don't think katy was inspired by gaga in this video (at least i don't think that now) because the song is entitled E.T, it was evident that she was going to look like an alien in this music video !! :)

I see a little resemblance to Lady Gaga, and avatar too. But this video seems interesting nevertheless.
