But the full interview doesn't come out until tomorrow, so I'll read it all then.
Although I am a fan of his, it doesn't sit with me too well that he is calling it a "mishap" though. But then again, if he did go around in interviews saying "Yeah I beat Rihanna," that wouldn't sound good either, but at least that is what happened. I don't know. I just personally hope his album does well so that everyone else that is not a part of his life for real can focus on his music and not his personal life. I also hope that he is really dealing with his issues in his life though.
ya thats what im thinking! hes calling something this bad a "mishap" & then saying that the people who are disgusted by it are "showing their true colors"... he really doesnt seem to care does he? i mean how dare we for caring about a woman that was beaten! and to criticize the man who did it makes us sooo much worse right? waaahh booo hooo hooo im not going to sell as much albums anymore waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! seriously thats how immature he sounds to me...
Rihanna moved on, what's the damn problem???
I think Chris meant that those people who had claimed to be his friends were only there for the "sunny days." They weren't true friends to Chris. They were probably the "yes" people in his life and as soon as he did something bad, they were out of his life faster than Usain Bolt running the 100m sprint. I think that's what Chris meant by those people showing their true colors. I know some people want to think that he's trying to feel sorry for himself or make others feel sorry for him, but I think he's just stating facts.
Gee, if I thought he had gotten help to get over his penchant for "mishaping" women, maybe we could get over it. But, has he? The fact he calls it a mishap, instead of what it is, domestic abuse, shows me he didn't take it seriously.
He has some nerve saying that the people who turned against him after the Rihana scandal 'showed their true colors'. He showed HIS true colors as an abuser when he beat her in the first place. Other than self defense, there is no excuse for domestic violence.
He will look like damn fool for saying sorry all the time. If i chris, i wouldnt go to no more interviews with nobody. Im with u chris, you have already been forgiving in my book. Keep ur head up and dont let them bring u down.
This is such a private thing that happened so publically. It shouldn't even be up to us to pass judgement, because i'm sure we have ALL done wrong in our lives.
