Might Charlie Sheen not be unemployed for much longer?

The actor, who is set to go on tour early next month, reportedly had an hour-long meeting with Fox over the weekend. Included at the summit were Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment;  David Hill, President of FOX Sports; and Peter Rice, Chariman of Entertainment for FOX Networks Group.

Sources tell TMZ the network is interested in giving Sheen his own late-night show.

But Fox might have competition… from Sheen’s former employer.

According to Radar Online, CBS President Les Moonves would absolutely accept Sheen back on Two and a Half Men. He just needs to work out a truce between Charlie and Chuck Lorre.

“Moonves wants to get the show back on the air. He’s all for it,” the insider says. “The core issue is, as he put it, the volatile relationship between Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre. He believes that if CBS and Warner Bros. TV honchos can find a way to get Chuck and Charlie to speak again, cooler heads will prevail.”

Finally, regardless of these proposal deals, Sheen is definitely headed for an arena near you this spring. All indications point to him concluding his tour in Haiti, appearing on stage with Sean Penn and donating money from the show to the victims of that region’s earthquake.

Incredibly, this epic meltdown might simply result in Sheen keeping the job he always had AND raising a chunk of change for those in need.
