Amy Adams Lands Role of Lois Lane
Superman will be flying to the rescue of an Oscar nominee in 2012.
Director Zach Snyder has confirmed that Amy Adams will take on the iconic role of Lois Lane in his upcoming reboot of this franchise. The star of The Fighter joins a cast that includes Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
"Second only to Superman himself, the question of who will play Lois Lane is arguably what fans have been most curious about," Snyder told The Hollywood Reporter. "So we are excited to announce the casting of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile and respected actresses in films today."
