Gorgegirl, You obviously remember NOTHING of her and her "bad girl" attitude way back then. She has always made herself an outcast, and has earned the "trailer trash" title that she worked so hard to obtain.

It is unfortunate that the media labeled Tonya as "trailer park trash" because the other skaters shunned her and her home-made outfits. It had nothing to do with personality and ability but rather who could afford Christian Dior like Kerrigan could. Tonya's mother had to sacrifice for her lessons and make her skating outfits. And Tonya shouldn't have been held responsible for something others planned and carried out, just because she found out they did it but didn't admit it. Instead, she paid with the only talent and potential for making something of herself. At least her brother isn't a killer.

Good for her! He seems like a good chap to marry. Say what you like, but she was a spectacular, gutsy athlete and you must commend that in terms of back when!!

I think the last time that I saw Tonya is when she beat up poor old Paula Jones in celebrity boxing a few years ago. Paula Jones hasn't shown her face on TV since. It is wonderful news to learn that Tonya and her husband Joseph are happily expecting a son!!
