Britney Spears Will Not Perform at Grammys
by Free Britney at .Despite reports earlier today that Britney Spears would be performing live at the Grammy Awards this month, her manager says it's not the case.
Nor was it ever her plan, Adam Leber adds.
"Need to clear something up ... This whole Grammy rumor is just that, a rumor. @BritneySpears was NEVER performing," he posted on Twitter.
Britney Spears fans CAN expect some good new material this week, though.
Leber writes: "More importantly, keep an eye out for the album title, album cover and some sneak peeks of the HIAM video, all coming this week..."
Well, that's better than nothing.
The album and its first single, "Hold It Against Me," promises to be hard, grimy and edgy ... a work of genius even, some might say. Stay tuned.

Very unhappy. . . . Many people get confused and why she change her mind.
She will never outselll GAGA. I am a fan of britney but I am getting tired of her putting out great songs and not promoting them. That is why HIAM has fallen to number 8 on Billboard. Those who say that she promoted Circus during her tour should keep in mind that it is a proven fact that tours do not cause sales to increase. She needs to promote on TV and so on. Why is she not doign the Grammys? Gaga is. Perry is.
