Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz: Divorcing!
Ashlee Simpson has filed for divorce from Pete Wentz.
Documents were filed in L.A. County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce. The couple married back in May 2008.
It's unclear what specifically led to the split. Ashlee wants joint legal custody and primary physical custody of the couple's son, two-year-old Bronx Mowgli.
HAPPIER TIMES: At some point, things apparently went south.
Simpson is repped by well-known divorce lawyer Laura Wasser and is also asking for spousal and child support. Wentz will be represented by Stacy Phillips.
There is no prenuptial agreement in play, according to reports.
The sad news comes shortly after Jessica Simpson's engagement to Eric Johnson. Ash's sister is also divorced, of course, having been married to Nick Lachey.
Here's hoping it's for the best, and that as difficult as this decision must have been, Ashlee, Pete and Bronx can move on with their lives amicably.

I bet her father Joe Simpson has plenty to do with that marriage failing as well as for the decision to divorce he convined Jessica to leave Nick Lachey and look where it let her for happiness rotating men as if they were her underwear. The man is plain jealous which is gross.

So Pete wants to continue his career. Ashlee was being selfish.... she's asked him to give up his career, to spend ALL his time with her. Fair enough, they have a son, but that doesnt mean he should give up his passions for him. if they werent so rich, then theres no way he'd give up his career. So lay off Pete. I'm not saying we should all lay into Ashlee either, just give him a break. I hope thinks work out for them, whether together or apart.

I know what happened. His pants are always too tight and they squeezed lil' Pete's dong SO MUCH it shriveled like a grape with no blood flow.
Or, they are experiencing karma at its finest for naming their kid Bronz Mowgli.

WOW kinda shocked and sad for the baby but they were having some issues and looks like this is what they decided on. He still wants to party and she's a mom and wife and was trying to do the right thing and stay home. Too bad so sad :(
