Sherri Shepherd: Engaged to Lamar Sally!

Sherri Shepherd may be the host of The Newlywed Game, but she will also qualify as a contestant on that show in the near future: the TV personality got engaged to Lamar Sally on December 26!

A statement by Shepherd's rep details the lengths Sally went to for the occasion:

"Upon arriving back to Lamar's home in Los Angeles from a trip to San Diego, Sherri was surprised to find their accommodations had been decorated with lights by one of Sal's best friends, her dog was wearing a Santa beard and hat, and, in the middle of a dish of Sherri's favorite but forbidden M&M's (she is diabetic), was a tiny little box."

This will be Sheperd's second marriage, as an August wedding is planned for Chicago. No doubt, we'll hear a lot more about it when The View returns with new episodes on January 10.
