Robert De Niro Acceptance Speech: Funny or Foul?
by Hilton Hater at .Ricky Gervais hosted the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards, creating a bit of a stir while doing so. But that wasn't unexpected.
Robert De Niro, conversely, is known as one of the quieter, more intense actors out there. That's why it made it so shocking when the icon accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award last night and went off on hot topics such as immigration and Megan Fox.
“I’m sorry more members of the foreign press aren’t with us tonight," he said. "But many were deported right before the show along with most of the waiters. And Javier Bardem."

Yes, his comment was offensive, and on top of that, inaccurate. The fact that Javier Bardem is from Europe just makes Deniro look even more ignorant, seeing our illegals are generally from Central America. I guess Deniro just is ill-informed. Not a good thing from one of my heroes.
my hero is dead. i quit robert de niro. adios hijo de p.
Only he knows what he meant. The sad thing is that if he had said anything about black people, he would have been allover the news and everybody would be mad at him. He's not hispanic, nor married to one, so it's not even remotely funny. Had he said anything about blacks, he'd have been MADE to apologize, but illegals, "thats ok...thats funny, dont take it so serious". It's so unfair.
how could he be rasist he's married to a black women that' it
