Elton John, David Furnish Debut Baby Son!

That's a mouthful, to be sure, but it's a fitting title for the son of Sir Elton John and David Furnish, who welcomed baby Zachary on Christmas Day.
Just 10 days after Zachary's birth, the couple shared their remarkable journey and spoke candidly about the birth of their first child with Us Weekly.
HAPPY FAMILY: Zachary and his two dads.
"I've never felt anything like it in my life," the music legend says of holding his son that day. "You're so awestruck. What can you say? You take it in."
"The feeling, the joy, the warmth of his body, his breathing," the singer continued. "I will never forget that experience ever."
Adds his longtime partner, film producer Furnish: "He's a content little guy... He just loves to be nurtured, cuddled, and sung to."
The new parents, who have been together 17 years, say they won't give up on Ukrainian orphan Lev, 2, and his HIV-positive brother Artyom, four.Amazingly, John and Furnish are donating all proceeds from the licensing of these photos to their chosen charities. Give them major credit there.

I too admire Elton john for his charitable work and generosity. I think it's great that he has chosen again to be a parent and to give a beautiful child a home where he will be loved and nurtured. Condemn the many parents who abuse,neglect and abandon children and whom many are heterosexual. Being a great parent is the important thing no matter what a person's sexual orientation is.

I have a great deal of admiration for Elton John's various charity work, and how he has turned his life around. FULL props. However, I think it's late in the game to have a child. This is not a gay issue as I also think the same of Larry King and the late Tony Randal. These children did not choose to have senior fathers, and it's not fair to them. No amount of money or fame can compensate for this.
