Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley have their differences, but the Teen Mom tandem is in agreement that they want control of Leah and contact with each other.
The pair will separately appear in an Anderson, Ind., court today in a bid to achieve both goals. For Gary, it's a No Contact Order against Amber he wants gone.
For Amber, it's to get the Department of Child Services out of her life, so that she can raise her baby girl without her being a ward of the State of Indiana.

“Amber and Gary have the same goals,” a source close to the pair said. “They want the Department of Child Services out, so everything can go back to normal.”
Normal often meant Gary getting his ass whomped, with Leah present no less, so it's very possible the Department of Child Services could deny their request.
“If DCS denies Gary’s request, he’ll know what he’s up against,” the source said.

Despite bad-mouthing her a lot, Gary Shirley doesn’t want Amber to end up in jail, our source tells us: “He and Amber both realize they have a child in common."
