Being paid to air your tragic plight on national TV surely can't be helping to reduce teen pregnancy. To the contrary ... girls in this predictament who watch this show would more than likely aspire to be on the show just for the money! Other girls may think this is the way to Fame & Fortune rather than working hard to reach their goals the right way! NO WAY is this show BENEFICIAL to anyone other than the NETWORK & the SPONSORS .. IMO!! ADAM IS RIGHT & I AGREE WITH HIS COMMENTS!!

OMG, if Adam's comments can open some of these teens' eyes about the immense responsibility of bringing a child in this world entails, great. By the way, he has probably only lost a handful of followers because since his tweets two days ago, I noticed that he has gained a lot of followers. Some people also tweeted that they are now following him BECAUSE of his caring comments. Let's face it, he did not denigrate the teen moms, only the SHOW that is exploiting them. Money does not help you educate your child or instill real values in them. Good on Adam to have opened a debate about these shows that are not advancing America's standing in the world at all.

I actually agree with him...i mean its true...with this show teenagers will think its GOOD to have sex young and get pregnant when its not...

I have also watched the show and I have mixed emotions on how effective this show actually is in reducing teen pregnancy. I hope that it gives teens in general a realistic view on what being a parent takes and how much work it takes. In regards to the previous statement, I think that it should be the responsibility of both teen boys and teen girls to practice safe sex and to acquire protection, not just girls! I imagine that this is what you intended by your statement, however I think it is importnant to make this correction.

As everyone already knows, I am not a fan of Adam Lambert's music, however, I am on his side for this one. He is basically saying the same thing about that show that I have been saying since the show's inception.

PS - I read a story that said that this show is helping to reduce teen pregnancy and that is some royal BS. Teenagers are going to have sex. There is no way around that. In my opinion, I think that birth control should be made more readily available for teenage girls and they should be able to acquire it without their parents permission.
