Tucker Carlson on Michael Vick: Execute Him!

by at . Comments

Many football fans, including President Barack Obama, are happy about Michael Vick getting a second chance from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fox News' Tucker Carlson is not one of those people.

We know it's a 24-hour news world, and Fox anchors are mandated to embrace the opposite view of anything Obama says, but listen to this:

“I’m a Christian, I’ve made mistakes myself, I believe fervently in second chances,” Carlson said. “But Michael Vick killed dogs, and he did in a cruel, heartless way. Personally, I think he should’ve been executed for that."

"He wasn't, but the idea that the President of the United States is getting behind someone who murdered dogs? Kind of beyond the pale."

So ... the Christian thing to do is execute Michael Vick?

What if he can truly be rehabilitated and people can learn from his example? Michael Vick loves animals now. What more do you want?

For its part, the White House reiterated that Obama condemns his crimes (running a dogfighting ring) but believes convicts should get a chance to contribute to society when they are released from prison (Vick served nearly two years).

Tell us, was Michael Vick's sentence fair?

What an idiot, who are you, Tucker, just another a#%hole with an opinion.
I've owned dogs all my life and will forever be an animal lover however, concerns over animal rights seems to have outpaced human rights concerns in some cases--particularly, those of children who are raped abused and killed daily. Where are the rabid protesters when these cases come to the forefront--if ever.

ask tucker how many chickens/turkeys his dirty mammy killed in a 'cruel/heartless' way with swanson foods

And to all of the Bible thumpers on here: take your Bible and gently shove it up your ass. God himself told me to say that.

What Michael Vick did was wrong (let's get that out of the way). However, the dogs that were fighting were pit bulls not sweet furry terriers or cute little pugs. Let me reiterate, they were PIT BULLS. A dog that has been breed to kill. A dog who's animal instinct is to go for the jugular. Sure, pit bulls can be nice like any animal given proper love but it is still their instinct to kill. They genetically cannot help it. Vick did his time and hasn't come close to repeating his past. He keeps his mouth shut and goes to work. He is one hell of an exciting player to watch which is a lot more than I can say about any panelist on FOX News.

Some realism; Everything we eat to survive ""WAS ONCE ALIVE"".
Meaning someone had to kill it. Cruel is as cruel was!! If anyone can,t accept that truth, then quit eating!! Joeblo,,

Sweet sweet Fox News. So tender about dogs. And so tender about Charles Leaf, who raped a 4 year old girl. Fox still proudly touts him on their web...

Execute Tucker the sucker, along with the other Faux News rabid dogs hannity, beck and riley and feed them to Vicks dogs..

This poll is ridiculous. Shame on this site for having such a loaded poll. Either you believe he's cured and should be on the team, you believe he was mistreated, or you believe he should be killed. What about thinking he may have served his time but should not be allowed back on a team where he gets millions? That's how I feel. And I think Obama is wrong for supporting him. I believe people can change most things, but getting enjoyment from cruel deaths of animals... I think that's something one can never change. Should he be killed? No but he shouldn't have the countries support either.

Vick should of killed fox reporters instead

Hey tucker why don;t you come to the game on Sunday. I'm sure Eagle fans would love to show you the city , NOT!!!! What's wrong you bitter because your team didn't make it this far. I bet your team was The Giants. They have convicts out on the street that killed PEOPLE and got away with it. Get real.
