Alex Welch Details Attack by Demi Lovato, Decrees Lack of Apology
Days after photos of the bruises she suffered at the hands of Demi Lovato surfaced, Alex Welch is speaking out about the early November incident between her and that famous singer.
While sitting on a plane with Demi, The Jonas Brothers and others related to that tour, the 21-year dancer says she was punched in the face by Lovato, who suspected Alex of ratting out her partying actions from the previous evening.
"She walks up and punches me and literally walked away and got in her seat," Welch tells People, adding that she didn't tattle on anyone. "No one should do that and brush it over, it's not right."
Lovato entered rehab immediately following this confrontation, but has not reached out to Welch about it.
"To this day, I haven't gotten an apology. I've heard nothing," the dancer says. "That's sad if you think that person is your friend."
A source close to Demi says this is just a matter of logistics, based on where Demi has been residing for the last five weeks: a treatment facility.
"Demi hasn't been able to call Alex because she is sequestered in treatment, but multiple efforts have been made to reach out to her," says the insider.
Reps for both side, meanwhile, acknowledge that there's been contact between attorneys. Confirms a spokesperson for Lovato:
"We are in the process of engaging with Alex's lawyer and hope to resolve this as quickly as possible."

Guys please...i dont kno is Demi actually punched Alex, but she had to have a reason to do it. And demi is a far to good friend so i dont think that she actually punched her!..and if she did well oviously she wasnt in her right mind, besides she is sooo freakin AWESOME!! demi i love you and if you realy did punch her, im sure it wasnt your fault, i adore you, n everything u do is just fine no problem atall....love you soooooo much!!

woah woah woah guys calm down ok because before any of u start assuming people did this and people did that actually find out the facts, you dont know if demi punched her or if alex was lying i mean demi could of punched her at the party cause she was annoyed and drunk(a possibility)
or alex could have had a arguement about something before with demi but we dont know.so just sit on the fence and stay neutral

I dont think that people really understand some of the pressure that these young girls are put under....some of blogs that they read affect them demi has even said so herself...weather or not alex told on demi and demi punching her i cant blame demi for snapping she had alot going on and she was in a low point in her life she has said so herself that there are things from her past that still bother her and not just with the bulling people give her a break she has done a damn good job with disney, her song writing, and things like greys ananomy...you dont have to like her if you dont want to but every person shld be proud of the fact that she got help with whatever she felt she needed help with a did it on her own time....demi is a role model for every girl...no she isnt perfect she makes mistakes but who doesnt she is human also people need to realize that being in the spotlight while growing up is hard but she makes sure her fans know everyday how much she appreciates them and i can s
