Has a new single by Michael Jackson truly been released?

According to Howard Mann, a partner with Jackson Secret Vault - a company that owns hundreds of MJ tracks, video and memorabilia - Katherine Jackson has decided to give the world a sampling of her late son.

"In an effort to overcome the confusion as to the authenticity of the track the estate has recently released we want to give an actual authentic Michael Jackson track to the world ... for free," Mann said.

There has been controversy for weeks over whether the songs in this company's possession are real or fake, as that debate was only heightened late last week when Sony released a teaser for Michael's upcoming Christmas album. Listen to it NOW.

** UPDATE: Mann now claims this song is NOT an unreleased single, but rather a "remake." He has also removed all references to Katherine Jackson from the song's advertisements. Draw your own conclusions from these developments.

    This does sound like some kind of remix from other recordings.Michael can be heard in parts, but other parts well????? The music covers a lot.

    that IS michael jackson's voice, but this is NOT a new song. the vocals are from Destiny, the title track of the Jacksons' 1978 album. The real scandal is what IS purportedly Michael's new single, Breaking News, which is to be the lead single from his new post-humously produced album DOESN'T FEATURE HIS F*CKING VOICE. it's a clear fake and SONY is behind it. way to honour dude's memory.
