Taylor Swift: Serious About Career, Not Jake Gyllenhaal

But no matter how cozy the pair looked together, a friend of the singer's tells fans they can stop trying to come up with a nickname for this twosome. They aren't a couple.
"Taylor is very serious about her career," this source told People. "For her, it's all about the career right now. She's not really interested in getting heavily involved with anyone."
It's hard to imagine when Swift would even find time to date. She's spent the entire month promoting her new album, "Speak Now," appearing this week on The Today Show and The Late Show with David Letterman, both of which are pictured above.
A friend of Gyllenhaal's agrees that there's little to romantic rumors between Jake and Taylor, saying:"They're cute together. But I don't think there's anything to it. Everyone's talking about it. They hung out. But that's it. I don't think they're a couple."
Swift better find someone new to date soon, though. How else will she come up with songs for another album?

iam so sick of hearing about taylor swift dating every guy i think she just doing it so she can make another hit album and thats what she does look at speak now its number 1 she is just useing this guys just to make a hit song the only long relateship she had was joe jonas and now she's bitching about she needs to write something better?
haha, i think it's funny that it says she's focusing on her career and that she's too busy to date, but she's been dating men left and right, i don't think she's been single for more then a few weeks since she went out with joe jonas. i mean she's already dated john meyer who is like 10+ years older then her, and then she come out with that stupid "Dear John" song blaming him for everything and acting like a victim when, from what she writes in her song, she was clearly the one chasing after him. the girl is in her 20s she needs to take responsability for her actions and stop blaming guys
Sad. A girl who is loved by millions, instead of writing a song that has a strong meaning to empower youth, she writes about her opinion of boys. And there never has been so many opinions before. Its impossible to fall madly in love with someone when she's hardly even dated them.
