I am taking the author up on her request. I sent you my birthday wishes yesterday, Simon, so today, I am begging you to PLEASE come back to American Idol!! Without you, the show will be just another talent competition, and not a very good one. I am dreading the void that I will feel January-May from now on. It's a famine where a feast used to be. Come back, Simon, and fill up the winter/spring cornacopia once again.
