Camille Grammer: Grateful for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Having been talked into joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills by Kelsey Grammer, Camille Grammer found herself in an odd position once the cameras started rolling:

She and her husband of 13 years got a divorce.

But at the show's premiere party last night (it debuts this Thursday on Bravo), Camielle said she's happy she listened to her ex.

"I'm glad that I did it, these women have been wonderful, they've been very supportive through a very difficult time in my life. It's been a good diversion," Grammer said of her co-stars, which include Adrienne Maloof, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, Lisa Vanderpump and Taylor Armstrong.

    i think camille has been made the bad girl..i think the last shows are showing that camille is an ok girl with great perks...good luck camille

    Camille: I cannot freaking STAND you and your nasty, plastic surgeried, cross-eyes, freaky OLD self. I literally wanted to throw up on the numerous episodes where you've said things like, "Kelsey is an A-list star...and Kyle's husband is just a realtor..." etc. Here's a newsflash, sweetheart: Kelsey Grammer is an f-ed up LOSER. Honey, he's no Brad Pitt or George Clooney. And as far as I know, he's a TV star. There's a reason the REAL stars are called MOVIE STARS, you stupid shallow idiot. And no, I am NOT jealous of you, a woman who employs a surrogate because she can't even be bothered to carry her own children and employs -- what is it? SIX nannies? Get over yourself, you rotten, skanky creature. I can't stand Kelsey either, but am so glad he left your nasty, skanky ho self. Now you can be free to steal your "best friend," (I think his name is Nick?) from his wife, who you also call one of your best friends. You're disgusting.

    Camille is clearly bitter about her status as an aging bimbo surrounded by far more attractive and interesting women. It is pitiful to see her desperately clinging to the fantasy (perpetuated by her hired help) that all other mortals are jealous of her. Camille reminds me of the evil queen in Snow White who needs the mirror to keep telling her that she's the "fairest of them all." Very, very sad.
