Brandy Rocks Dancing With the Stars

by at . Comments

It was Rock Week this week on Dancing with the Stars, and one star truly rocked her dance more than all her competitors. That star was Brandy.

Despite getting quite testy with Maksim Chmerkovskiy in rehearsals, the two pulled it together and tangoed to the top of the leaderboard. It was great.

Maybe going sexless for six years is benefiting her here. Brandy's just got that edge! She proceeded to win the dance marathon later on, as well!

TWO TO TANGO: Are Brandy and Maks the new favorites?

In second place after last night were Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani, despite what the judges see as untapped potential in terms of her character and passion.

Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke turned in a pretty nice tango, as did Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer, who have been quietly strong in recent weeks. Much improved.

The surprise of the night was probably that Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas outscored several - including favorites Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough - with their tango.

The judges applauded her growing confidence on the dance floor after the anti-teen pregnancy advocate had closely escaped from last week's elimination round.

Jennifer and Derek were told to calm down after a performance that was all over the place, but the lowest score came from Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya.

After competing for up to 30 points in their individual dances, it was time for a dance marathon, in which the couples all competed for an additional 10 points.

Kurt and Anna were the first to be removed, while Brandy and Maks were the last on the dance floor, giving them 10 additional points. What a night for them.

Here's how the scores shook out after two hours:

  1. Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 36 (26, 10).
  2. Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani: 32 (24, 8).
  3. Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke: 30 (24, 6).
  4. Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer: 30 (23, 7).
  5. Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough: 29 (20, 9).
  6. Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas: 28 (23, 5).
  7. Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya: 22 (18, 4).

Who do you think is in danger tonight? You have to think that with Bristol Palin's improvement, Kurt is headed home, though we've certainly been wrong before.

Who are you rooting for on Dancing With the Stars?

Maybe you could write next articles referring to this article. I want to read even more things about it! Excellent post. I was checking continuously this blog and I am impressed! Extremely useful info specially the last part :) Jones sabo horoscope signs is likewise in combination with this http://forum.onlineprilezitost...

You people fail to realize that Jennifer and Brandy are dancers and maybe the public is sick of these ringers being thrown in DWTS. It sure is refreshing to see Bristol and Kyle make it to the finals. Altho the outcome of the show is already been made, they have been the real show not these prima donnas that whine and carry on about their sore bodies give me a break

Brandy is the better dancer, yes....however it's all about the public vote....Palin is the sweethart and Brandy not.

At what point is Bristol Palin going to realize she is not a dancer and merely a pawn for her mothers political career.I started watching DWTS a few seasons ago as the loss of a coin toss with my wife and got hooked on the show. Now she doesn't blame me if i ever watch again. The producers really dropped the ball on this season. It's time for Britol to walk off the job like her mother and leave the dancing to the dancers or change the name to"DANCING WITH THE DIP-S----!

Bristol Palin is another horiffic example of having bought a contest. Musically, she has no musicality. There were weeks when she couldn't remember the steps. She is a clumbsy horse on camera. A non entity whose mother bought the contest in the most disappointing, what seems to be becoming, the American way. Disappointing, disgusting and shameful!

We should have started dancing with one arm waaay before.

I am not the best dancer, and I have not been the best dancer from the beginning. I am happy we made it this far.
