Ashley Tisdale and Daniel Radcliffe Address Topic of Teenage Bullying
by Hilton Hater at .In the wake of a slew of tragic suicides, Ellen DeGeneres was the first celebrity to speak out on the troubling topic of teenage bullying.
But she wasn't the last.
Daniel, Ashley and many other celebrities (watch this video now!) have an important message for teens.
“Learning about the suicide deaths of Tyler Clementi, Seth Walsh, Asher Walker, Billy Lucas and Justin Aaberg has been heartbreaking for me,” Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe said this week. “We have a responsibility to be better to each other, and accept each others’ differences regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ability, or religion and stand up for someone when they’re bullied."
Radcliffe is a major supporter of The Trevor Project, which focuses on at-risk teens.
Below, Ashley Tisdale and fellow members of the Hellcats cast also address the issue. The video is worth watching, and the topic worth doing something about.

Yeah, after school shootings and suicides, we need to do something about it and realize it is a big problem and it is not the old school name calling that kids can deal with. It is very vicious and some kids can't handle it and we need to put a stop to it. Glad that celebrities are speaking out and raise awareness of a serious epidemic in this country. Bullying is a big problem and wont go away until we deal with it. I all for beating the hell out of the bullies. That is my opinion of that.
Great to see young stars reaching out to troubled teens. The recent events have been absolutely awful. If only the adults in our country could set the example for our kids: Accept one another! Equality for everyone! Alexg, thanks for your enlightening contribution on the topic. You are a glaring example of the troubled state of American youth.
