She seems like a lovely girl, but from the photo I doubt very much that she is a size 6. If you're proud of your body image, tell the truth about it.


You guys should have left out the "5'8" and is a size 6" bit.

Patting her on the back for promoting positive body image is great, but it's unnecessary, hypocritical, and just annoying to then throw in her vanity sizing info (she's no size 6, honey... maybe an 8, on a good day... more likely a 10).

The media's hypocritical messages on body image can't be any better for young girls than the 5'11" 110# supermodels they see in the fashion mags (I'm thinking Kardashians loving their curves/ pushing diet pills, Jessica Simpson loving her curves/promptly losing them -again- after showing up on tabloids in ugly jeans, etc)
