Kanye West Tweets Apology to Taylor Swift
Seriously, Kanye West is sorry.
The rapper has taken to Twitter to once again apologize for the mess he made at last year's MTV Video Music Awards, when he cut Taylor Swift off mid-speech and said Beyonce deserved an award over her.
"I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it," Kanye Tweeted this week. "If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her. She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows. She had no idea what hit her."
Should Taylor Swift forgive Kanye West? Sound off below!
Continued Kanye, who will perform at the September 12 MTV ceremony:
"She's just a lil girl with dreams like the rest of us. She deserves the apology more than anyone. I'm ready to get out of my own way. The ego is overdone. Who am I to run on stage? I would never ever again in a million years do that. Sorry to let you down…TAYLOR LOVES RAP MUSIC...I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC...I'm sorry Taylor."

God, you people are STOOPID!
This thing, AND the original thing, were total PUBLICITY STUNTS.
Have you ever heard me sing?
I can’t carry a tune in a bucket, so my promotion comp……err…..I mean record company came up with this stunt to get me sympathy, and to get ME and my homey KANYE some publicity.
How else would I EVER get a ‘VOCALIST OF THE YEAR’ award……Duh!….I’m not Carrie Underwood you know.
…AND, this new stunt will help me become the biggest ‘country’ (what-EVVr) RAPPER of all time….’cause now I’ll have street cred…. yo-yo-whuz-up-my-homeys!
Quit gripin’ and jus go out an buy my new album….and Kanye’s two!

One thing about acting a complete fool, and then after millions of people let you know how unglued you were, a year later when it is time to face the same people that saw you unwind, you apologize.
I am all for apologies, but the millions that saw you act crazy, will never know about the apology.
If Taylor has accepted your apology, stay off stage unless you are supposed to be there.

Firstly, this Kanye-Taylor drama is kind of washed up by now, isn't it? Taylor did one (1) interview about this afterwards, then when a second set of questions from a radio station was asked, she hung up on them. She's done and has moved on. Kanye has since done several things to make others deserve his apology as well. Also, tweeting an apology is kind of a pathetic, half-assed way to apologize to someone. It seems that if someone apologizes on a public forum, they want to get written about in gossip and news articles for apologizing, and it really makes his apology seem a lot less genuine.
GoodG: In Kanye's credit, embarrassing someone who later bounced back and quickly moved on (Taylor's now more successful than ever!) one evening at an awards show (she's since earned quite enough awards to make up for it) is much better and undoubtedly more forgivable than Mel Gibson's horrific and well-documented actions. Mel Gibson is a woman hating, 'N' word saying, Jew blaming baby-hitter.
