Gwyneth Paltrow: Booked for Glee Appearance!

Glee has booked another major name.

On the heels of John Stamos recurring this season, as well as Britney Spears making a cameo, the Fox smash has announced that Gwyneth Paltrow will come aboard for a two episode stint. What role will the actress play?

Look for Matthew Morrison's Will Schuester to fall ill and take an absence, giving Paltrow's character a chance to come in and actually lead the singing group for a bit.

While the role may seem random, closer inspection proves that it's anything but:

Paltrow is married to musician Chris Martin and stars this December in Country Song. She'll play an aspiring singer and the role is already garnering the star Academy Award buzz.
