Honestly, the snarky comments drive me crazy. Can't one movie be good, as well as another? Why does one have to be weaker or more scandalous? As a YA movie actress, she shouldn't be one to bash another film in the same genre. Honestly, if we're speaking of examples here, isn't it far more important to portray a positive outlook, and keep the gossip to a nil? Shouldn't she be setting an example of "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"?
Honestly, my first thought was -- did this Emma chick try out for Bella? Because I feel like, even in context, it was a pointless comparison and it came off as sour grapes. Twilight has sexual tension, true, but it's hardly selling sex in a dirty way or detrimental way...the abstaining of sex is actually a huge thread in the novels and the movies.
I think each series can stand on its own without drawing the other into it.
I won't vote. I love them both. But I don't think twilight is selling sex. They haven't even had sex in the movies yet. I know they do have sex, but where would the fun be in that if they didn't have sex? I know I was rooting since the second book, "when are they going to have sex?!" So I am excited for this book. I think she's just upset that HP has been kinda tossed to the side since Twilight came out.
