Bret Michaels to Undergo Heart Surgery in January

A few months after overcoming a brain hemorrhage, the rocker has scheduled heart surgery for January. Says his rep: "It's for the hole his heart. I don't know any specifics."
Fortunately, this ailment has been with Michaels for years and is not life-threatening.
During treatment for a stroke this summer, doctors discovered that Bret had a "patent foramen ovale," something that went unnoticed since his birth and which is "operable and treatable."
The singer's next project is an autobiography titled "Roses & Thorns: The Reality of My Rock & Roll Fantasy. It comes out in March and Michaels' publicist expects his client to be fully recovered by then, saying:"The next thing he has is his book tour [beginning] March 15, on his birthday. After the holidays, he'll do this and then have time to heal before the whole book publicity campaign."

MONKEY YOU KNOW YOUR WRONG. BRET IS A GOOD PERSON. HE LOVES OUR USA AND THE TROOPS. I SAW BRET IN CONCERT AT STURGIS SOUTH DAKOTA AT THE FULL THROTTLE SALOON HE DIDNT CHARGE HIS FANS FOR HIS CONCERT LIKE ALL THE OTHER CAMPGROUND CONCERTS. THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE THERE I WAS NEARLY CRUSHED. GREAT DAY AND MUSIC. MY HUSBAND TOOK ME TO CLINTON OKLAHOMA A SMALL TOWN IN OKLAHOMA TO THE LUCKY STAR CASINO TO SEE BRET AS WELL. AT THAT CONCERT THE CO ANNOUNCED THAT TWO LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS WERE IN A CAR ACCIDENT A WEEK PRYOR,ONE DIED AND ONE IN CRITICAL CONDITION, BRET SIGNED HIS GUITAR AND RAFFLED TO HELP THE FAMILIES. BRET IS MY AMERICAN IDOL !!!!
