Angelina Jolie may be dedicating time to the victims of massive flooding in Pakistan, but the charitable actress found a few moments today to speak out against Terry Jones and his unfathomable plan to hold a Quran burning rally on September 11.
Said Jolie of the evangelical minister's viewpoint: "I have hardly the words that somebody would do that to somebody's religious book."
Jolie shares the opinion of government officials, military men and anyone that understands the values on which America is built:
The pastor's actions could endanger troops in the Middle East and be used by terrorists as propaganda to fuel intolerant, anti-American sentiment across various regions. As for the disaster in Pakistan, the actress has a message for people hesitant to donate money due to allegations that the nation's government is corrupt:
"I don't want some people to use it (corruption) as an excuse not to give assistance. I have seen what they have done in the field. I've physically seen people assisted, so if you are nervous about giving money directly in one way there are other ways to do it."
