Young Celebrities Urge Fans to Stand Up to Cancer
Are you ready to change the odds and stand up to cancer?
Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Kristen Bell and other young celebrities urge fans to do exactly that in the following public service announcement.
It was filmed in honor of Stand Up to Cancer, a telethon that will air on September 10 across all major networks and raise money to fight this deadly disease.
Aside from the aforementioned trio, those sending a helpful message below include: Andrew Garfield, Dakota Fanning, Logan Lerman, Jon Heder, Aubrey Plaza, Zachary Levi, Sofia Vassilieva and Olivia Munn.
Says producer Laura Ziskin:
“It is important for young people to be aware of the scope of the problem and the odds that they may face, both for their own future and for their loved ones. This piece is about how it is never too soon to take a stand against these devastating and epidemic diseases. Theirs may be the generation that gets us to the finish line."
